Experiencing any form of domestic abuse, no matter whether it happened far in the past, more recently or is still happening today, is extremely isolating and can have a profound impact on your wellbeing. We want you to know that although you may feel alone, you are not. We are here and want to provide you with the help and support you need to move forward with your life in the way that suits you best.
Below you can find a range of resources for survivors of domestic abuse, taken from our personal development programmes that aim to encourage positive emotional wellbeing and increased self-confidence. We encourage you to download these resources and keep them in a place you can look at whenever you’re feeling lonely, upset or down.
These resources are intended to promote positivity and remind you of the journey you are on, but by no means are a replacement for support for mental health challenges or diagnoses. If your mental health is not in a good place, please seek professional support either through your GP or through your Women’s Aid caseworker if you are currently part of our service.
