Current vacancies:

HR Co-Ordinator HR11/21

4 days per week, permanent

The HR Co-ordinator role provides support in the day to day delivery of the HR/Admin function in relation to recruitment, health and safety, volunteering and property management.

Salary: NJC scale points 9-20 Starting salary £20,903 per annum pro rata

Belfast Domestic & Sexual Violence and Abuse Partnership Co-Ordinator PC11/21                                                       

The Belfast Area Domestic & Sexual Violence and Abuse Partnership is one of five local domestic & sexual violence and abuse Partnerships operating across Northern Ireland. It is a multi-agency partnership bringing together organisations who have a role and remit around domestic & sexual abuse, with the aim of sharing information, expertise, best practice and resources. The Partnership undertakes a variety of projects and initiatives aimed at tackling domestic & sexual violence in the Belfast area.  

The role of Co-ordinator is based within Belfast and Lisburn Women’s Aid. The successful candidate will need to be able to work on their own initiative with minimum supervision, to identify and develop projects on behalf of the Partnership.

Starting salary: £24,982 per annum pro rata (25 hours per week)

Trustee Board Members

Belfast and Lisburn Women’s Aid has been at the forefront of responding to domestic and sexual violence for over 40 years. We believe everyone has the right to live in safety and free from violence and abuse. We work with women and children who have experienced domestic and sexual violence and keep their voices central to our work. Our vision is to end domestic violence and establish a future where it is unacceptable and where women and children are safe in their homes.

We are seeking new Volunteer Trustee Board Members to join a diverse and committed Trustee Board working co-operatively at governance and strategic level to oversee the management and development of the organisation. The Trustee Board brings together women from a range of backgrounds, skills and experience, who are working to meet challenges and opportunities in a changing environment.

We invite applications from women with experience in one of the following areas: communications, influencing, children and young people’s issues, policing and justice. Previous experience in governance of an organisation is preferable.

A commitment and willingness to work within the vision, mission and ethos of Belfast and Lisburn Women’s Aid and an understanding of domestic violence are essential.

ASSIST NI Advocacy Service

ASSIST NI domestic and sexual abuse advocacy service

The ASSIST NI Advocacy Service launched in Autumn 2021. This is a regional service, with staff located in various locations across Northern Ireland.

Please note this is a separate service to Belfast and Lisburn Women’s Aid.
