Donate Online

1 in 4 women in Northern Ireland will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. Having your support allows us to work with women and children to improve their lives, and work with the wider community to challenge attitudes and beliefs that perpetuate domestic abuse.

We are always very grateful for any donations we receive. Throughout the year we run specific appeals for donations, however you can donate securely through our trusted donations platform Enthuse via the buttons below all year round, or alternatively via our JustGiving page.

Fundraising for Belfast & Lisburn Women’s Aid

Charity fundraising is regulated by law so please be aware of the rules. When you are fundraising for Belfast & Lisburn Women’s Aid, please state that you are acting “in aid of” Belfast & Lisburn Women’s Aid. This just means that you are independent of us. Please also make sure that your fundraising materials and posters that include our logo include the line:

In aid of Belfast & Lisburn Women’s Aid, Registered with Charity Commission for Northern Ireland NIC 106099, HMRC No: XT3255 and Company Reg No: NI020807.

To use our logo the event must be compatible with our ethos and values. Suitable fundraising events include sponsored walks, cycles, climbs, swims, quiz’s, tea parties etc. If you are unsure if your fundraising idea is suitable, please contact us to discuss at liz.johnston@belfastwomensaid.org.uk
MATCHED GIVING

If you are an organisation fundraising for us, some employers operate a matched giving scheme where they will match what any employee raises £ for £ or up to an agreed amount. Find out whether yours does.

Our publications, banners etc. may be available for use at your event but this is not guaranteed. As you can appreciate in this financial climate, our focus is to support as many women and children as possible and not invest unnecessarily in promotional merchandise.
